I walked into the greenhouse this week and was immediately greeted by the ghost of gardens past. Crusty pots. Spider webs. Half-used seed trays. A vague smell of “I forgot about you” in the air.
It was time.
Time to turn the chaos into compost. Time to transform this disaster into a sanctuary again.

🧹 The Process (and the Panic)
I started by pulling everything out. And I mean everything. Tools, trays, old grow lights, and enough dirt to start a second garden.
I swept. I scrubbed. I power washed. (Not the recommended setting, but deeply satisfying.)
I may or may not have disturbed a few very disgruntled spiders in the process. Sorry, lads. Rent’s up.
And then—organization.
- All my seed trays went to good use
- Tools got cleaned, sorted and used.
- I even found a stash of seeds from 2021. (Oops. Might still try them though. #chaosgarden)
🌿 Room to Grow
Now? Now it smells like promise.
There’s space to move. Space to start seeds. Space to drink coffee and pretend I’m not behind on everything.
It’s still not Pinterest-perfect. But it’s real. It’s functional. It’s mine
